Invitation of the Deputy Defence Minister General of the Army Pavel Popov

According to the Decree of the Russian Government dated December, 2016 №2668-r, on August 22-27, the ARMY-2017 International Military and Technical Forum is to take place. The Forum is organized by the Russian Defence Ministry.

Events of the Forum (exposition, scientific-business programme, dynamic demonstration of armament and hardware) will be held in the Patriot, Congress and Exhibition Centre (Kubinka, Moscow region), Kubinka airfield and Alabino range.

The Forum has transformed into one of the leading international exhibitions of armament, special and military hardware as well as a platform for discussing advanced ideas and designs in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces. It has become an effective instrument in development of international military-technical cooperation.

Scale and credibility of the Forum are confirmed by results of the ARMY 2016 Forum: more than 1,000 Russian companies, including 58 ones of military industrial complex, and 13 foreign states. They demonstrated more than 11,000 samples of their production. More than 100 events of scientific and business programme, dynamic demonstration of about 300 items of armament and military hardware took place within the Forum. More than 17 state contracts at a cost of over 130 billion rubles were signed. More than 500,000 people, including representatives from 82 countries, visited the Forum.

In course of diversification of military industries for releasing modern high-technological civilian production, participants of the ARMY 2017 Forum will get an opportunity to demonstrate newest technologies and samples for inner and internal markets. Programme of the Forum provides work of specialists in days out of massive visit in order to create comfortable conditions for holding business meetings and negotiations.
