Army 2017 International Military Technical Forum starts its work in the Congress-and-Exhibition Centre of the Patriot Park

The Army 2017 International Military Technical Forum will be held from August 22-27 in the territory of the Congress-and-Exhibition Centre of the Patriot Park located in the Moscow region.

The Army 2017 Forum is a multi-format platform for international military-technical and military-economic cooperation, which will demonstrate advanced military and dual-use technologies. The Forum is held for the third year in a row in the territory of the Patriot Park, where a unique format of congress-and-exhibition activities is implemented, combining the participation of representatives of the scientific community, heads of leading industry enterprises and military specialists.

This year, the Forum’s organisers significantly increased the scope of static expositions, the dynamic demonstration of the military equipment capabilities in the air, on land and at water, as well as the number of events of the scientific-and-business programme.

The exposition of the Forum includes more than 40 thematic sections, which demonstrate the most advanced achievements of the defence-industrial complex and promising models of the Russian and foreign military equipment. More than 1,200 enterprises and organisations will present at the Forum their developments and technologies in the field of defence and security.

The Forum is attended by 78 foreign defence enterprises from 14 countries: Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey, France, Estonia, Czech Republic, South Africa, and Korea. National expositions will be presented by Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Slovakia, and South Africa.

The Forum's scientific- and-business programme includes about 140 events in the format of interdepartmental meetings, conferences, round tables, symposiums and briefings.

On August 25, 26 and 27, during the mass visit to the Forum, the audience will be able to see the Polite People military show with a modern combined-arms battle involving by heavy armoured vehicles, attack aircraft and assault units.
